Sunday 23rd August was the occasion of St Congans ‘Strawberry Tea’ hosted by Julia and Ian Nicholson to some 26 guests at their home at Back Hill of Carnousie.
It was a fine day, if a little windy, and the strawberries and ice cream and strawberries, and even a few raspberries, made a welcome addition to the variety of savoury and sweet items brought to the occasion.
A total of £170 was donated by those present and will be split between the Red Cross and St Congan’s Church.
